HOUSING
The price of a Texas course registration includes three nights (Thursday - Saturday) of lodging at the Mayan Dude Ranch in Bandera, Texas. This includes your own queen bed in a shared room with one other student.
An optional $100 housing upgrade at the ranch is available so that you can have a private en suite King room.
Flying in early or staying until Monday? You can add a Wednesday or Sunday night shared room (with another au pair) at the Historic Hotel Gibbs in San Antonio for $75. The additional night(s) includes breakfast.
There will be a $50 administration fee for all housing refunds. Refunds are only allowed up to 30 days prior to the weekend start date.
TRANSPORTATION TO CAMPUS
Travel Between Airport & Campus
The weekend begins in San Antonio with check-in at the Historic Hotel Gibbs. Ubers/Lyfts are required to get there from the airport, as public transportation is not available.
After you arrive at the hotel for check-in, the weekend's transportation is covered by Au Pair Weekend. We provide travel from there to the Mayan Dude Ranch in Bandera, TX. At the end of the weekend, we also provide a ride to the airport or back to San Antonio, whichever you prefer.
Note: Students who stay at Hotel Gibbs for an extra night on Sunday will also have to pay for their own Uber/Lyft on Monday from the hotel to the airport to catch their flight.
